The Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons meeting will be held at the beautiful Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, FL.
The meeting will feature several distinguished speakers and educational sessions covering a wide range of topics in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Deepak G. Krishnan will present on optimizing the OMS anesthesia model and the growing impact of artificial intelligence in OMS practices. Dr. David B. Powers will speak on subperiosteal implants for the atrophic maxilla and mandible, as well as updates and clinical applications for hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Julie A. Chavez will present strategies for preventing musculoskeletal disorders in OMS through ergonomic and fitness practices.
In addition to the educational programming, this year’s meeting will honor Dr. J. David Johnson, Jr. with the Lifetime Achievement Award and Dr. George M. Kushner with the Distinguished Educator Award in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the field.
